چکیده
The patient is placed in a right lateral and rotated decubitus, with the abdomen rotated at 45 (Fig. 1a). The abdominal slope obtained with the maximal right rotation of the operating table (ALM, OrleÂans, France) reaches 65 . The video monitor is viewed distally on the left side of the patient. The surgeon is facing the patient's abdomen (Fig. 1b). The 0 endoscope (Storz-France SA, Paris, France) is positioned through a 10 mm-trocar (Storz-France SA, Paris, France) introduced on the anterior axillary line 3 cm below the costal margin. Figure 1b shows the position of the other trocars. A left retrocolic dissection is conducted in line of the Told fascia, down to reach the left renal vein. Due to the right lateral decubitus, the small bowel and left mesocolon drop fall to

Experimental laparoscopic aortobifemoral bypass for occlusive aortoiliac disease.
OBJECTIVE To describe a totally laparoscopic technique for aortobifemoral bypass to treat aortoiliac atheromatous occlusive disease. DESIGN A feasibility study. SETTING A university teaching hospital. SUBJECTS Six piglets weighing between 70 and 80 kg were submitted to a totally laparoscopic retroperitoneal aortobifemoral bypass, performed through six trocar sites, with abdominal suspensi...
متن کاملCost-utility analysis comparing laparoscopic vs open aortobifemoral bypass surgery
OBJECTIVES Laparoscopic aortobifemoral bypass has become an established treatment option for symptomatic aortoiliac obstructive disease at dedicated centers. Minimally invasive surgical techniques like laparoscopic surgery have often been shown to reduce expenses and increase patients' health-related quality of life. The main objective of our study was to measure quality-adjusted life years (QA...

PURPOSE Minimally invasive surgical techniques have been shown to reduce the inflammatory response related to a surgical procedure. The main objective of our study was to measure the inflammatory response in patients undergoing a totally laparoscopic versus open aortobifemoral bypass surgery. This is the first randomized trial on subjects in this population. PATIENTS AND METHODS This is a sub...
متن کاملTotally laparoscopic aortobifemoral bypass surgery in the treatment of aortoiliac occlusive disease or abdominal aortic aneurysms – a systematic review and critical appraisal of literature
PURPOSE This systematic review aims to evaluate the published literature regarding totally laparoscopic aortobifemoral bypass (LABF) surgery in the treatment of aortoiliac occlusive disease (AIOD) or abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), compared with open aortobifemoral bypass surgery. MATERIALS AND METHODS A systematic review of the medical literature between 1990 and 2016 was performed, search...
متن کاملA comparative cohort study of totally laparoscopic and open aortobifemoral bypass for the treatment of advanced atherosclerosis
BACKGROUND Totally laparoscopic aortobifemoral bypass (LABF) procedure has been shown to be feasible for the treatment of advanced aortoiliac occlusive disease (AIOD). This study compares the LABF with the open aortobifemoral bypass (OABF) operation. METHODS In this prospective comparative cohort study, 50 consecutive patients with type D atherosclerotic lesions in the aortoiliac segment were...
